My readers have demanded another book review, so I'll just walk over here and see what's on my reading table. Oh, you didn't know I was walking now? Been doing it for ages, I'm just holding onto the table because of the blog's safety regulations. I couldn't get insured otherwise.

So today's book is Itadakimasu (いただきます), a book about dining etiquette featuring wild animals. They're shown eating the food of humans, (sushi, sandwiches, etc.) which they must have either burgled or taken by force, but each one is polite enough to express token gratitude for his ill-gotten meal. Are these beasts taunting their human victims by adopting their rote manners, or have they been domesticated by eating decadent human treats?

Rating: This book is as delicious as its subject matter. The cardboard is thick and tantalizingly flexible, yielding a fabulous chew profile. Three Michelin stars.
