The challenge: Promote the city of Chicago in a fresh and positive way for investors.

The solution: Filmstrip of iconic Chicago scenes overlay a skyline. Chicago flag and city seal appear as minor elements.

The challenge: Carolina Beverage wanted a bold look based on their logo.

The solution: I redrew elements of their logo to make a lighthouse theme. Also used their company typeface throughout the presentation.

The challenge: Portray the healthcare company as patient-focused.

The solution: Used images from the company's website along with elements of their logo to make a simple and friendly cover.

The challenge: BMO's administrative staff wanted to promote a company-wide baking competition in a fun way, but had no suggestions for a theme.

The solution: I used an Iron Chef theme, compositing found internet images and custom-made illustrations to achieve a visually compelling, yet lighthearted invitation.

The challenge: Met-Demand had a complicated, multi-part management program and wanted to portray it visually.

The solution: Modified an exiting globe illustration with their text. 

Employer: Sweet Tooth Specialties (Freelance client)

The challenge: to make a visually compelling website to introduce the new bakery to the community.

The solution: Proposed a color scheme of cream, berry and chocolate brown to reinforce the dessert theme.

Employer: Contractor Cost Controller (Freelance client)

The challenge: Propose multiple new logo ideas using the company colors (red, blue and gold) that would also work in black and white.

The solution: Made custom illustrations using the CCC name and motto.

The challenge: Make a compelling cover for the department's mailer using one folded sheet of letter sized paper and one color.

The solution: Used the department's text in a custom open-book illustration.

The challenge: Make a visually striking poster using a black and white photocopy and one photo of Polish poet Adam Zagajewski

The solution: Used pseudo-Constructivist art style to reinforce poet's Eastern Bloc history. 

Employer: Metro Houston Apartment Guide

The challenge: The owner of multiple apartment complexes (Simons Realty) wanted to put two different properties on one full page advertisement that looked appealing and coherent.

The solution: Used overlapping, asymmetrical images and diagonal graphics to break up the page and direct the viewer's eye through the information.

The challenge: Make a lighthearted poster highlighting the amount of insect parts allowed in dairy products.

The solution: Made fictional advertisement for insect ice cream with cartoon centipede.
